Thanks for commenting Heather. I was lucky that he was standing on a smal bush in the middle of a clearing., so the background is far enough

I love how the bird is off center in the photo. It's more dynamic. Also, it's the same colour as the background, but because of the shallow depth of field, it easily stands out. And the fact it's singing....bonus!!! Nice work, Yves

Thanks for the nice comments Jane. He was in the middle of a clearing so I had a perfect view. It 's been a real pleasure to take at least 10 shots
